Fawn Mckay

Fawn McCay Brodie was was born at Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. She was a member of the Mormon Church's very first family, Fawn McKay devoted her brilliant literary talents and remarkable researching skills in the creation of the brilliant psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945, entitled The Only Man Knows My History. This title was inspired by an 1844 funeral sermon by Joseph Smith, the Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder. My story is not known to anyone. I'm not able to tell my story. Fawn an older woman, aged 29 has written: "Since that moment of truthfulness, three or more writers have risen to the task." Some have rebuked him, while others have deified. There are a few who have come to a diagnosis. The documents aren't there, it's that they are so contradictory. Assembling these documents - by sifting through third-party and first-hand sources and fitting Mormons' tales of the past to those of non-Mormons into a true time-line - is a thorny task. It is both exciting and educational. FawnBrodie was able to take on this expert challenge. Thaddeus Stewards, the result of her research and writing has made her a known author.
