Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She has written fifteen books and is the cofounder the magazine The Huffington Post. Arianna Huffington is a writer and philanthropist as well as a television host as well as the proprietor of the independently liberal online news magazine The Huffington Post. Following her move to England from Greece at 16 and obtaining an MA in Economics at Cambridge University. The first graduate from outside the UK to serve as the president of The Cambridge Union at the age 21. Being a conservative syndicated blog, after graduating she was able to be a voice of the Huffington Post. The fame she gained allowed her to persuade a number of stars to voice their views about current affairs, culture and politics. Arianna was famous after she was elected as an independent in the California recall elections to replace Governor Davis. The project she headed was a Detroit energy-efficient vehicle project. Her name was voted as the most influential women in media in 2009 by Forbes in 2009, gaining the 12th place in the list. That same year Guardian named her on the top 100 media list. In 2011 AOL Inc. acquired The Huffington Post and made her the head of the media unit, which comprised of many then-existing AOL properties too such as Engadget AOL music Style list and Patch Media. Their parents are Elli and Konstantinos Stasinopoulos. They were who was a consultant in management as well as a journalist. She was very close with her father. But it was her bond with her mother that has shaped her. She showed leadership traits even in her early years. When she was in her 16th year she travelled to England for a degree and attended Girton College Cambridge. She joined the Cambridge Union college debate society throughout her college years and was the third female to serve as president. She graduated in 1972 with an advanced degree in Economics. After her graduation she worked as a columnist critic, and a television host. Her appearance in Face the music with Bernard Levin was also notable. Her first novel was written. books with his guidance in editing.
